If you ask me to talk about one of the greatest disasters of my life, without batting an eye, I’d tell you it was my divorce. I literally felt like my life was ending and there was nothing anybody could do to bring my life back together.
Had someone told me then how my life would be now, I’d never in a million years believe them. Never. At that low point, all I envisioned for myself was constant rejection and failure, not to mention how scared I was to become a single mother with two kids.
Fast forward to my nearly picture perfect life with my beautiful well-adjusted kids and amazingly wonderful Dutchman I share a home with. The outcome from that messy equation years ago is more than I could ever ask for.
