If you had the power to change something, what would it be?
This is a really deep writing prompt, isn’t it? At first, my knee jerk reaction was to scream out, “My Butt! I would change my butt!” However, when I took more than 4 seconds to formulate my response, I was bombarded with so many things I would love to change if I could.
Negativity and judgement. World hunger and war. Pain and suffering. The list could go on and on with all of the bad things I would change into good. But the more I tried to streamline my thoughts into just one thing I would change, I wound up with one resounding response.
Nothing. I would change nothing.
As frequently as I wish things to be different on both a small and grand scale, I really don’t. My life wouldn’t be my life without everything that happens day-to-day. And I love my life. I am beyond blessed and I wouldn’t change a thing. At least not today.
Talk to me tomorrow after I try on a cute pair of jeans that don’t fit me because my butt’s not the right shape.

I would change people’s sense of entitlement. You should always earn what you get. When you work hard for something you cherish it!!
