Scrolling through the list of movies to watch on a rainy night got me thinking… I don’t watch nearly enough TV!
There are so many good movies I have yet to see.
So many good documentaries I have yet to open my mind to.
So many series I have yet to become addicted.
It’s time. And this is the year to do it. I’m the busiest I have ever been. I have less free time than I have ever had. So, it’s the perfect time to watch more television.
Growing up, my parents were obsessed with movies and entertainment. In fact, it was a very common thing for both of them to pick me up at 3:15 from school and take me directly to a movie theater to watch the latest and greatest boasting fantastic reviews or the unknown indie.
I owe it to my parents for opening my mind to all sorts of lifestyles and experiences… all through movies.
I’m infatuated with stories. Hence, my obsession with books. Is it any wonder I am so attracted to movies, popcorn and the occasional milk dud?
Sundance and movie festivals are a must do every year.
And now… I feel as if I have been missing out. It’s actually something I need and so this year, I will dedicate time (I don’t have) to watching more TV. I can’t see any reason why not. If it means staying up later, getting a little less sleep – I say “Go!” It might mean an extra glass of wine and perhaps an extra load of laundry folded. See, I’m already more productive.
I already workout; I save money; I give back and I talk to my parents every day. I’ll probably lose and gain 5 pounds up and down like every year, so really what else is there?
Yes, this year I have just one resolution.
WATCH MORE TELEVISION.
I’m with you! Let’s do this!
