Quit whining! Oh wait, it’s Wednesday. Whine away…
Things are gettin’ cray cray busy up in this joint! I might I have blurted out a complaint of not having enough time, but that wouldn’t make much sense because then I would be contradicting my advocation for time management and how effective it is. After that came out (without permission from my conscious brain) I knew what I had to do. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, do what I did.
1. I typed out a list of everything I needed and wanted to get done. Work stuff, home stuff and even play stuff. I wrote out everything single thing that I would LOVE to be off of my list. The big and small.
2. I printed out 3 months of my calendar.
3. I determined what I could delegate and what I could not.
4. Everything still standing, I assigned to a day (just one thing).
If you’re like me, when it’s on your calendar, you will get it done.
If you’re not like me then I’m sorry for wasting 60 seconds of your time. Now, you legitimately have something to whine about today. You can blame me for your extra glass of Pinot tonight.
